The Wedding Approaches!

On August 25, 2001, while on a vacation together in Las Vegas, I asked Frances Froehlich if she would do me the honor of becoming my wife.  I had made a dinner reservation for a very nice restaurant at Paris and she knew that I wanted to go up into their replica Eiffel Tower.  Just before sunset, we ascended to the observation deck and watched a couple of the fountain shows across the street at the Belagio.  Unfortunately, the songs they played could not be called "romantic" and they were NOT going to become "our song" (Frank Sinatra's "Luck Be A Lady"????).  In spite of the musical setback, I pulled out the ring I had purchased and asked her if she would marry me.  Of course, her immediate answer was, "Uh-huh," and a nod.  Guess Francie was a little surprised and more than a little stunned.  The whole time, I was afraid I was going to drop the ring!  It would have had a very long fall.

The Date Is Set

Francie and I selected Saturday, April 13, 2002, as our wedding day.  Things are moving fast and we're almost there already!  We are being married at the Chapel Of Grace in Olympia, WA.  The reception will be held at the Olympia Women's Club.  The Honeymoon is none of your business!
